need help on covering the gas tank in 63 cab
i just bought this truck and it has the cardboard covering the tank but i dont know if it is the right one. it has holes in the cardboard but i dont see where to mount it on the back wall. any ideas would be great. thanks

here is the one in my 65, no holes... it just has tabs that slip up into the back window panel.

the cardboard covering i have is from lmc trucks, i dont know if you are suppose to bend the top taps down or what, what makes it stay tight to the tank?

I don't remember my original one being fastened....but it was pretty brittle. I'll look back and see if I have any old pics of it. The factory assembly manual may show.

look close to the last pic I posted, you can see how the tabs slip between the rear window panel, and the back of the cab
