Question VIN decode please

I'm trying to figure out what info is on a vin number for a truck I have, and I have no clue how to decode it. could anyone help please? The vin is KS1401140871. Any help will be greatly apreciated...

you must have used the same search engine, thats the same stats I got for it, but my frame isn't from that year, so how do I tell what year it is?

Thanks John, I read it but some reason couldnt really figure mine out, I found a good site that decodes it. Now I just have to figure out how to decode the sn on the frame to find out what year it is. Any suggestions?

Not to steal the tread, But my truck's vin makes it a 71 and it's put on with what looks like factory rivits, but from what I read on here it's a 72 cab. Thanks any comments or opinions.

Could be the end of the 71 model year frame and they mated it with a 72 cab due to the start up of the 72 model run...this is just a thought.
