Re: rat rod-patina-shop truck style?
I have a Advance Auto coolant jug on my old rat. PO put it there. Believe me, it does NOT look cool.
I had a Dr Pepper bottle on my old Mustang. Didn't like it much either.

Re: rat rod-patina-shop truck style?
jack daniels bottle works pretty good, any kind of old glass alcohol bottle would work for the rat look.

Re: rat rod-patina-shop truck style?
Hey!! It`s a radiator overflow bottle thread!...Uh,I mean a ratrod-patina-shop truck style thread.
Is this considered a ratrod-patina-shop truck style?I know it doesn`t have lettering, but it doesn`t need it to be a shop truck...style .I`ve had alot of ideas for lettering.

Re: rat rod-patina-shop truck style?
I think one of those old 2 foot thin neck soda bottles would look cool, you'd have to figure out some fancy way of mounting it...

I relocated my windshield washer reservoir to the otherside and use that as my coolant overflow.

Re: rat rod-patina-shop truck style?
I love the brass antique fire extinguisher! I looked for pictures of our Nova but couldn't find them, but we had puke tubes from breathers going into one of those screw-cap bud light cans.

Ive been wanting to do this for a while. The jack daniels bottle idea is my favorite. I would love to see some more pics if anyone has any!

Re: rat rod-patina-shop truck style?
Yea we are doing a Jack Daniels bottle for the radiator overflow, and windshield washer bottle will be a Jim Beam bottle
I found this thread on a Google search, and I seen that one Jack bottle, and I love the bracket, we are trying to figure out how to mount these bottles and protect the labels from the elements.
