things i need to do/get

in order of how i'm gonna do it:

1. get shocks mounts rewelded 1-1.5" over to accomadate flip kit plate. i'll get this done in middle of january when me and my friend take my truck up to his night votech class to fix it, and while i do that, i'm gonna have the bump stops removed then.

i would remove them now, but i cant bolt on a shock on the drivers side, because the nut wont fit, so i'm gonna continue to ride on the bump stops until i get that done.

2. get new tires IF my current ones continue to get ate up since i rolled the fender lips today.

3. get drop shocks

4. get new shortie headers

i still got a little bit of work to do on it, i couldnt do much today since my girlie was over and, well.... you know how that goes

i made 2 cuts in the lip, both right before the fender curves, then i just used the same sledge we used for my drop and i hammered it up a lot. i didnt get it quite rolled as much as i think i need to though, so i will do some more tommorow

Is the leaf spring plate really that large? I have a DJM deluxe flip kit and it doesn't make contact with anything but the shock extender bolts. I put the heads facing outwards so it makes very little contact and I didn't trim at all.

Sounds like you have a good plan. I bet it rides rough w/o a C-notch and stock application shock absorbers!

it rides rough because its riding on the bumpstops, all the time. i dont have a shock on the drivers side, because i cant get the nut on the shock mount, so the shock cant go on.
