neutral safety switch on a 71 c10?
On my 71 C10 sometimes it wont start until you play with the shift handle on the colum. (chevy 350 w/ 3 sp auto tranny) sometimes wiggle it sometimes shove it into park and it will start. I was wondering could my neutral safety switch be going bad, does my truck even have one? Where is it?

Try adjusting it first before replacing. There are 2 screws on top that hold it in place, and the NSS is slotted for adjustment.
