want to get some ideas and see some two tone paint jobs on 67/68 fronts , i have seen a couple ,want to see where people started the two tone at , and see what colors they used ,all the pics would be appreciated thx

Here's a few that I had on my computer. the last one is mine when I brought it home from Ga. I had the bed(s) full with all the other spare parts.

I believe that was Chevy's [1968] Fiftieth Anniversary Special Edition. Gold/White, but there may have been more proprietary names for the special paint scheme.
Not having one, I can't say.
So, Yes, factory original.

Yup, its a 50th. The proprietary names are: Ivory/Gold

The paint in post 44 looks better than the factory Gold, to me. Being freshly painted and looks like clear coat, that paint might look different from the factory paint, just a thought...

Looks like this answers the question of if the front grill area gets painted other then body color WITHOUT having the chrome trim going around the nose.

I had been wondering if my '68 paint was factory done. Looks like if you got painted bumpers, you got a silver nose and if you got chrome bumpers and nose trim, you got white paint.

Sure wish mine had the trim.

Here's a pic of my 68. I guess my bumper could have been changed, but the rest of the truck is original to the best of my knowledge. So who knows?

215 70 15 on the fronts, 15.5 x 29 15s on the rear. Drop by heat torch,
