Free, U Ship

I have replaced the linkage power steering system on my '67 C20 and am going to junk the works if nobody wants it. The steering box is tight and would work fine for a manual steering system. The control valve and cylinder worked but leaked.
Free from me, shipping is on you.

Is it complete with all the brackets that mount it to the frame? Could you give me a shipping quote to my business? zip code 85248?
Pics would be greatly appreciated!

I will clean it up, weigh it, find shipping costs and get you some pix. Yes it is complete. I hope you're not in a real big hurry though, I will get to it as soon as I can.

Re: Free, U Ship

I'm in no hurry, I have a 67 that I put the integral power steering on because the manual box was shot but I like the ram assist power steering that came on them in 67. Most people don't like them because they are prone to leaking but I don't mind rebuilding it I just couldn't find a complete setup with the brackets, bolts, etc and one with a decent manual box.

Thanks again!

Hey Crashbob, just checking in to see if you had a chance to pull the power steering setup? Thanks!

Sweet! Let me know when you have a chance to calculate shipping. My home zip is 85224 and my work zip is 85248 if that is cheaper. I can kick in some $$ for the box if needed as well. I bought some good sized double wall cardboard boxes from UPS store to ship some brake parts for $6 each about 8 months ago. Don't know if they still sell them but I would assume so. If they are less than 40 lbs I'm sure a single wall box will be fine.

Thanks again and my 67 shortbed will thank you too!!

I weighed the unit in a bucket on my bathroom scale and got it at about 50#. I'm guessing by the time I get it wrapped up for shipping it will be in the 55# range. UPS shipping is $34.74 and USPS is about the same for 55#.
Let me know what you want to do.

If you have paypal PM me your email and I'll send you $40. I'd prefer UPS if you don't mind. If it comes out to be more money let me know.

Thanks!
