good lord what a pain in the a** it is, i stripped my doors to paint them and bought all new rubbers first the vent window is the stupidest design ive ever seen as far as changing out the rubber. The door rubbers/felt that go around the window in the door shell is also complicated. I bought the rubbers from lmc and there not marked if there for the front door the back door, dirvers or passenger side. I havent the slightest clue to where they go and i have no idea which way they go since some have metal tabs on the end that do not line up with anything on the door.

just had to vent a little lol.

I have yet to experience this lesson in frustration. I have heard the vent window rubber is a pain to install.

a pain is an understatement, its a complete nightmare.

For $300 each you can order the wing assy's fully assembled new, expensive tho. I'm in need of doing the felts around the big windows myself someday and will find out what a PITA it is, I suppose. I can offer you a tip tho, if you do the rubber that goes around the cab where the door closes, do not put the seam at the top.

put it at the bottom or your leg will get wet every time it rains!

Learned that the hard way and had to have a "do-over".

lol, i know the seem goes to the bottom.

i have a crew cab so i have 4 windows to do this with and it is a real pain especially when u dont know which window felt is for which window lol.

Also i forgot how to get the back door windows out and well who ever designed the window tracks needs to beaten with a dipstick.
