That looks real good, not to be a buttface..but how much does a set up like that cost? I'm a novice at all this, but I like what you've done a lot! Good job!

Re: Pics of my '72
It looks awesome!!!!
Let the questions begin as I want to do the same to my truck: Which kit did you use? Did you make your own kit? Do the front wheels hit the inner fenders? Do you have some picts of the set up underneath? I have been going back and forth for four months so far to pull the trigger and buy the stuff and then taking my bucket back to the shop to do this... Any help is great appreciated!!!!!

Re: Pics of my '72
Clos69, yes I know that I have to lose the "Elephant ears". Just waiting on that.
Big_Al_71 and AJLChase, By making my own kit I assume your referring to piecing together stuff from different vendors? If so, Thats exactly what i did. I have 2 Viair compressors, 1 tank, Slam re-7's, 8 GC Extreme valves, a C-notch kit, adjustable panhard bar, lowering spindles, Bag cups and plates for the front, the cups I ended cuting an inch off cause it sat to high, and 2" blocks for the rear. I spent roughly about $1500.00 for all the parts. Did all the labor my self But it was fun and very gratifying in the end. The front wheels dont hit the inner fender when its aired out, but i'm running 15" rallies. I'm assuming when I upgrade to 20's that it probably will. Maybe someone can chime in on that. I will get some pics of the underneath and post them later. Thanks. DZL1. |

Re: Pics of my '72
Security guy and everyone else, thanks for the compliments. Security guy, I understand the money issue. I bought peices here and there a little at a time. Search e-bay, I got a good deal on my compressors there. And search all different vendors, every once in a while they'll run sales.
