thanks i think is a 283, theres a #3896948, so im thinking he thought the second # was a 6 when its really a 8

your "3696948" is probably "3896948" and that is a 1967 283cu.in. with 195 hp. 2bolt. does that help? dave

327 and 350 both share a 4" bore, but the stoke is different. Only way to know for sure is to check the crank. Either way, the 010 block is a very good block.
