Parting out 71 LWB GMC

It's a 71 GMC with a 69-70 chevy front end. I bought this truck mainly for the cowl and firewall for my Jezabel project. I have removed the parts I need and therefore I am parting it out from here. It has a 305 w/th350 tranny and coil spring rear. Take a look at the pics and let me know if you see anything you need. I may keep the 5 lug setup I have not made my mind up there.

Absolutely. I have never shipped something that large though. I don't think it will be cheap. If you are willing to pick it up it's yours for $75. Let me know.

Thanks
Steve

I am in Sanderson, Fl. Just off I-10 about 30 mi west of Jacksonville, 20 mi east of I-75.

The steering wheel has some cracks in it. The rear window is in decent shape though I would not put it on a show truck. The mouldings are driver quality. Let me know if you are interested and I will take some close up pics for you.

Re: Parting out 71 LWB GMC
how are youre doors?

Both doors were cut for speakers (2- 2x9's in each door). The drivers side is trash (skin loose on front corner). The passenger door is not too bad with just a few small holes.

I also have a few other doors as well from other trucks. None are rust free though. Let me know if you want to see some pics.

Thanks guys for the interest,
Steve

Eric, the door panels were cut for speakers. I don't think you will want them. I will be posting some pics in a few and you can see what I am talking about.

Thanks,
Steve

Steering wheel pics. David, it's cracked in three places. Two where the middlebar connects to the column, and one about 12 O'Clock on the wheel itself. Not sure if you would want it. Let me know.

Thanks,

The carpet was aftermarket and trash. As for the stereo it was a CD aftermarket deal. The auto column is in good shape, still has all wiring in place as well as the neutral safety switch, turn signal and shifter. The cigarette lighter assembly is in good shape as well. The lighter itself is not original. Stainless bezel is not bent and shines good.

Hows $75 shipped for the column and cigarette lighter assembly? Let me know.

too much stuff

No problem.

IndyRich

The passenger side inner fender was trash like most of them are because of leaking batteries over time. The dr side inner fender is in good shape. Just some surface rust like you can see in the pic above. If you want it how does $50 sound + shipping? Let me know.

Thanks guys for your interest.

Thanks for the info. Just found out that a buddy of mine has the column and lighter assembly here locally. Thanks anyways.

Mark,

The hood is in good shape. It has three small dings about 1/8" deep on the dr side. You can see them in the pic. There is also a section on the bullnose there it appears there is some mud under the paint. Probably over a dent. Just below that is what I had initially thought was a bad rusted spot. After peeling back the mid I found some surface rust and two very small pinholes. That spot on the bottom is only sand. After uploading the pic I noticed that and went back out to verify that it was not a bad spot. It wiped off. That is about all I can find wrong with it. If you want it, you can have it for $100 but you will have to pick it up.

As for the bumper, you said you are looking for a 71/72 bumper. This one is for a 67-70 model. I have someone interested in the bumper, if you want it I can put you 2nd in line just let me know. I am selling it for $50 because it has a spot on the dr side where the chrome is flacking, other than that it's in good shape.

Hi Mark,

Here are a few more close-up pics. I took a wire brush on a drill to it so you can tell a little better that is not that bad. I also took a picture of the back side so you can see that it does not go that far in.

Thanks,
Steve
