please help; post up your pic's and spec's
I have a 79 C10 and would like ideas on what direction to go with it. I am thinking about a 3/5 drop and I am not sure how I want to do it plus I am looking for ideas on wheels and tires. Does anyone know the largest 15" tires that can be had and fit? I have a set of 15x10 rear and 15x8 front's needing bigger rubber (currently wearing 275/60 rear and 215/70 front and they look tiny in the 1st pic's. The 20's in the next picture's, I decided I don't care for, besides they won't work to tuck under a drop of any kind. Thanks in advance for your pictures and specifications!

that set up you have now with 15s would look good with a 5/5 drop, and your trany and brakes will thank you once go back to 15s a bet those 20s are heavy

I recommend that you check out this thread:
http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=323014 It is two pages long, and the guys included the amount of drop, techinique used, tire sizes and wheel sizes and backspacing. You might get some good ideas based on that. K

Re: please help; post up your pic's and spec's
I have 275s on the rear w/ 1.5" spacers 10X15 wheels. I could fit a lot wider wheels/tires in there but can't find a neat set of 5on5 rims and some nice wide 15" tires.
Rolled out fenders, drop spindles, flip it, shackles..blablabla.... |

I like the big 20's!!
Why not go back to your 09 '18's? I took that idea and ran with it. |
