2 Mystery Wires on passenger side of motor on my 72

I was tugging on the wiring harness removing that black plastic tape around the wires when I noticed 2 wires that didn’t seem to be connected to anything. Ones black and about 12 ga and the other is a dark green with a white stripe. I was looking at the posted http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=185665&page=2 in boundstaffpress sig but cant seem to find the wire. I may have yanked them off of something.

Anyone got an idea what the wires went to..

Off the top I can't tell you by the colors, but the 72s had the lousy "TCS" transmission contolled spark system that had a wire or two going down to the trans. Lot's of people cut these wires so that their engines ran better.

yep, that started in 70 actually.
I can't remember the colors of the wires, but there would have been a temp sensor in the passenger side head, and a wire going to the vac switch that was mounted on the passenger side center on the intake.

Isn't that the colors of the wires running to the clutch on the a/c compressor? I am not sure, but am thinking those are the colors on the newer style (73 and up) trucks. Just my guess.
