Newer 6 lug wheels ?

My nephew has a set of wheels and tires off an '01 Tahoe, which I think are 6 lug wheels. Anyone know what the pattern is on those, and if they'll work on the original 6 lug pattern on a '70?

Thanks,
Scott

The bolt pattern should be the same but the off set on the wheels makes them set too far in on the truck, I think they may look funny.

The center hub diameter is too small, I tried it myself. It wont fit over the hub...

A friend of mine put a set on a 74 K-10, they had to machine out the hole in the center to accomodate the larger hub, but the bolt pattern worked fine.

To summarize, the bolt circle is the same 6 on 5 1/2" as ALL 6 lug GM, the center hole is too small, and the backspacing is about 5 inches vs. the 3 1/2" that was used on '87 and older trucks which makes the wheels/tires sit further under the truck.
