Out of paint, the fun begins
2 years in the body shop, rust is gone (there was a lot), some custom touches done, now I get to put it back together...

http://www.offroaddesign.com/ made the bumper, doesn't fit just right on the lower side, had to weld it on. Fits great everywhere else (I think they specialize in 73 + up) I'm happy with it, they have great products. Last edited by HvyChevy; 06-23-2009 at 11:17 PM. |

Re: Out of paint, the fun begins
Yeah, suburban rear seat...
Not sure if the fronts are going to mount. Need a passenger seat bracket that will tip and slide forward |

Re: Out of paint, the fun begins
Looks awesome that color is getting very popular around here but that doesn't take anything away from it because you just don't see nice Blazers anymore I only see the daily drivers that need restored (not that there is anything wrong with that I'm just sayin)
I was at a cruise in this last weekend and a father was telling his son what a good custom job I did cutting the roof off my truck, I set him straight. Even though the 67 Camaro next to me got more looks mine was way more unique.

Re: Out of paint, the fun begins
Line-X did a great job of matching the color (no metalic though) kevlar top coat. Pricey, but should last forever.

Re: Out of paint, the fun begins
Very nice work. I love that you relocated the tailgate latch to the inside. I'm wanting to do the same eventually.

Re: Out of paint, the fun begins
That's a Bad looking Blazer. Paint came out really good. What size lift do you have on it? What about rims and tire's, what do you have in mind? The rims make the truck you Know! Keep the pic's coming

Wheels & tires will be last. Going for 37's. Undecided on wheels still. I have some one ton axles to mount, just trying to keep it as low to the ground as I can, while still working on it. Hope to get a bunch done this weekend (if I don't pass out), only forcasting 98 degrees this weekend.....lol |
