Dynomax Exhaust
Greetings,
I want to replace the 3-inch exhaust that came with our truck. I was thinking of the Dynomax kit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-89027/ Has anyone used this? I did call around to a couple of exhaust shops and the cost may be a wash. Thanks MrBlue |

Re: Dynomax Exhaust
I haven't used that kit, but Dynomax is my favorite brand of mufflers and they make good horsepower!

Re: Dynomax Exhaust
going with the magnaflow dual stainless system w/ x pipe from lmc truck....either when i swap the 406 into my 72 burb or when the stock exhaust falls off....whichever comes first!

Re: Dynomax Exhaust
If i were you I would much rather get a pypes performance exhaust kit. It is 100% STAINLESS STEEL, not aluminized and has and x-pipe. It's 320 for one with the violater muffler, 400 for the street pro and race pro, and I think 250 for one with no mufflers so you can choose your favorites to add to it... They sell these on the summit racing site.

Re: Dynomax Exhaust
that's 2.5 inch, but a heck of a deal. i did 2.5 inch all the way back here's what i spent
320 headers 150 x pipe 300 pipe bends and hangers 60 tips 10 welding wire 0 mufflers sooo.. 245 is a good deal i'd say. but X pipe > H pipe and i havent heard of the dynomax kit for our trucks so i don't know how well it fits |

Re: Dynomax Exhaust
Great deal. Make sure you post pics of the system when you get it PYPES also makes a kit now for our trucks but it's pricey.
