wiw '66 chevy cab/doors
Hey guys, I have a really nice 66 chevy cab i want to get rid of. Its the cab/doors (with glass and internals) an old bench seat and a decent looking wiring harness. This thing has no rust and just a few small dings here and there. any ideas on what i should ask for it? btw its a small back window.
thanks, chris

Re: wiw '66 chevy cab/doors
If it really has no rust I'm thinking start at $1500. The doors have to be worth $300 each, front glass $250-300. Ya, a pic would be nice. If you lived closer I'd tell you $300 total. Then I'd come get it. That's not Placerville Idaho is it? Ya, I'd say about $300 total.

Re: wiw '66 chevy cab/doors
I paid 150 for a decent 66 gmc cab, doors seat , and glass.
the guy threw in the frame and box as well.I found a relativly rust free 62 gmc cab for $100, with doors,no glass, and have seen a few different ones for sale around here on craigslist from $100 to $350...anything more$$ you usually get the whole truck... So there you go anywhere between 1500 (to much) and 100 (to little). : Look on craigs list there are usally a few on there. I put $600 in mine just to get it rust free.+labor. I don't even think I know what rust free looks like anymore.

I know I'm dumb for posting this without pictures. I'm going to snap some of it tomorrow or this weekend whenever I can get out to where its at. I was going to try selling it with the truck I bought it for but it has $700 in back registration fees so I figure I'm better off parting it out.

In my experience it's tough to sell something on ebay that you're not able to ship. Shipping doors is a challenge.

Re: wiw '66 chevy cab/doors
Ya the shipping on the doors was like 170. I think grayhound is a lot cheaper though.
