Re: Flip Kit
Yes, that DJM part number will work with your truck. Summit's description is screwy though... They seem to have mixed in a shackle kit description somehow. Here is a link to the application guide on the DJM website... The part numbers shown in the charts have a link to the instructions for the kits.

Re: Flip Kit
Here has been my thinking as I am planning to flip the axle in my '71 Chevy.
Why not use a pair of these and apply some welding? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-720025/ Throw in a couple pairs of these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CEE-7030/ Or something like this instead: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DJM-LB3LK/ Is there some reason this would be a bad idea? It seems that it would be a lot cheaper than $156.99 (Around $114 cheaper). Last edited by BHyatt; 06-27-2009 at 02:16 AM. |

Re: Flip Kit
Yeah that would be good but since I'm not the greatest weleder that summit kit would be the best for me.

Re: Flip Kit
I got mine form Stylintrucks here
It looks different than what's in the pic, but don't worry, it works. There's some pics of it in my build thread.

Re: Flip Kit
Actually mine was brought down more like 5 in the front and about 9 in the rear. It sat like a damn prerunner when I got it! It doesn't ride bad, but it's no Caddy.
