1987 GMC (Roll'em)

Hey I been here reading for a while, so i decided to introduce myself. about three month I got bit by the bug and decided to build a C10. I sold my 2003 F150 for a project truck that I cant drive go figure ??? But here she is let me know what y'all think. Its a 1987 GMC, but I switching everything to look like a Chevy. It has a 350 combo.
The 1st day I went to look at it. It was raining cats and dogs The truck wouldn't start so I took these picture on my cell phone to think about if I wanted to buying it.

After going home spending hours of thinking and search Craigslist for another C10.
I waited one week I made an offer and the guy bit. So he delivered it to my house.
Then I had to figure out what to tell my wife, "yeah she still mad at me,lol".

The 1st hour it got home "DISASSEMBLE!!"
My lil man helping, it his truck

I have alot more picture but I have to see if anybody wants to see this build 1st, let me know there alot more in stored ;D

Re: 1987 GMC (Roll'em)

So at this point I thought all I had to to do was sand it down and get some interior piece, at least i got it started it was a fuse 8)
So now in my head its time to get some new shoes ;D 22" Foose wheels.

The next thing was to fix the doors, I wanted door handle but the guy who sold it to me me assed over the doors bad. He glued washers behind the locks and Bondo over it so now the hunt was on for new doors.

Re: 1987 GMC (Roll'em)

So I finale agreed on a color for the truck, but my biggest pet peeves is seeing the old color on a car like under the hood. so time to disassemble. and check for rust.

Looks like a nice color, and all your work paid off. I haven't seen a square body that color before.
