Re: sending unit sock/filter?

i knew this was going to be a tough one. i even thought about putting inline filters before the tank selector valve. but i'm not sure that would do any good since the tube is at the bottom of the tank...

anyone?

Menace I think Old Rusty is right. Although you might try and get something that works by removing the old one and going to the local parts store. I know they sell them for later models separately.

Re: sending unit sock/filter?

Cool deal! I hadn't ever seen them for sale separate like that. I coulda used that before I threw away my stock gas tank. I run a fuel cell now. It's kinda funny though to have this race car fuel cell in my truck that you could push it down the track faster than it would run through the quarter. I need to put my truck on a diet it's such a fat ass. LOL.

Re: sending unit sock/filter?

I have what is supposed to be 300hp. It's not enough. You need to raise the bar alittle more. I am running.

350 30 over with flattops 64cc stock heads 1.94intake 1.50exhaust valves. I have a Performer EPS intake manifold a Performer Carb. Set of no name stainless headers 1 and 5/8 primaries 3 inch collector shorty style 2 and half inch pipe past that with flows 40 series, It has what told me is a RV cam. I think it's Crap!! I have a electric fan and 3 inch tall air filter K&N. I have one wheel peel and it's hard to get that one wheel spinning sometimes. Although its a huge one wheel LOL. 275/45/20. I also only have 3.23 gear in the back.
