front end help

have 68 3/4 ton longbed, switch to 71 72 disc brakes . problem drivers tire
1/4in from hitting sway bar. when turning to the right. turn to the left pass tire is 4in from the sway bar. and turning it drags the tires.. second problem
in lots of sway in the the front end at speeds of 50 and higher. had the front end align. please help

Sounds like one problem may be that the steering box might have not be centered from lock to lock before the pitman arm was attached.

Also, was this a 3/4 to 3/4 or to 1/2 ton?

3/4 drum to 3/4 disc. we centered the pitman arm, still have the problem. any other ideas

I know you said it was aligned but the only other thing I can think of is that maybe the springs aren't properly seated.
