Re: Kennesaw Mountain Acc. bumpers
I have heard that about most of there stuff. Every once in a while i hear a good review but most often it is people who are less then thrilled with he quality and fitment.
Personally I like DIY4x and ORD

Re: Kennesaw Mountain Acc. bumpers
Thank's 84. I am still trying to work out my problems with KNMTN. Anybody else got a horror story to tell? I can tell anybody that is considering buying from KENNESAW MOUNTAIN ACC., don't do it! I don't have a problem with the quality of the bumper, as it is as described, but the customer service sucks! I ordered it one way, and got it built another way. I talked to them on the phone to order it and was quite specific on how I wanted it to look. I recieved a bumper 12 weeks later, that was totally different. Anybody got any pic's of thier products?

Anybody see the diff between the one on the white K5, like I ordered, and the one I got! Prerunner/grill guard is totally different.

Re: Kennesaw Mountain Acc. bumpers
You state that the majority of your discontent with Kennesaw Mountain was with their customer service and not the quality of the bumper. Is the quality of the craftsmanship acceptable? Are the welds ok? Is it square and does it attach to the bumper mounts without any mods? (If you have mounted it)
I was thinking of ordering the wincher for my project but have heard several horror stories about Kennesaw. I really can't find any other companies that build a winch bumper, or any other stout replacement bumpers for that matter. Any ideas? |

Re: Kennesaw Mountain Acc. bumpers
A good friend of mine uses this company up in Dewey, AZ (granted for his old Bronco.)
http://www.protofab4x4.com From what I've heard, they're really good guys that are always looking for work. If you don't mind driving, I'm sure you could get up there, have them take some measurements, and see what they can do. I wish I could tell you how awesome they are, but my $$'s are being run into other areas at this time.
