LS air intake?
Do you guys know of the best air intakes for a 5.3 swap into a 67 chevy? I dont see any sense in spending 200 plus dollars on an intake system. What are you guys using?

Re: LS air intake?
Depends on how flashy you want to be.
We have used GTO inlet tubes on jeeps, we have made some out of PVC pipe. The GTO and Truck CAIs have nice looking tubes that can be used. but like you say, it is $$. I have not decided what I am going to do with mine just yet. Are you keeping the MAF or going SD, I ask b/c this might factor into your decision.

Re: LS air intake?
Yeah i'm keeping the MAF. I am thinking about PVC since this is sort of a budget build, i think i can paint it and make it look ok. I just didnt know if there was a cheap good looking option

Re: LS air intake?
I found a nice looking polished aluminum tube/filter on ebay. It's designed for a newer truck, but will work fine for mine. It was less than $100

Re: LS air intake?
Was it a brand name or not really?

Re: LS air intake?
I just used a $25 dollar k&n knock off filter attached to the maf and then the maf to the throttle body, it worked good for me.
