20 X 12 with mini tubs?

Any one have 3" tubs and running a 20 X 12 on the rear? If so, what offset do you have? Or, just how wide can I go?

Click on my build thread below. I don't have 20" tall wheels....but I do have 14" wide wheels!!! If you do a mini tub job like I did, you can get HUGE tire and wheel combos under these truck with the trailing arm rear end. My backspacing is about 8.75 and I could have gone more. I know it's not the exact setup you were asking about but it should at least confirm that 12" wide is a piece of yummy chocolate cake!

I'm running 20x10 with 5.75 BS and that puts the tire just barely inside the wheel well at full dump (315/35/20) so I would say you can run 7.75 BS with 20x12s though you may want to run a little more to play it safe.

I wanted to run 20x12s initially, but it was a lot of extra $$$$ to get those extra 2 inches.
