Calling GMC gurus

I got a 68 GMC 3/4 ton. It is white with green door panel ,sunvisors, and dash pad. The cluster bezel is green along with the inside of the glove box. Is this normal for the GMC? The chevys I have had black bezels. I was going to change the int. color to black, then I found a blue headliner and sunvisors at the pull apart. I was cleaning them to paint and decided to go with the blue. Would I need to paint the bezel and glove box door? Would body color on the glove box and black on the bezel be right? thanks, Jim

Re: Calling GMC gurus

I bought a 69 gmc for parts once. It was silver with a blue interior and the face of the bezel was blue as well. I never really gave it any thought but that was the only gmc I ever had and the only painted bezel face I ever had as well.

I have a '69 1 ton GMC. Every POSSIBLE thing on the interior is BLUE! However, there is some 2 ton blue action going on between the glove box door and the main part of the dash. I don't quite get it, but it's probably one of those GMC specific touches that sets them apart from our 2-headlight brethren.

Yep, Thats was a GMC thing. The glove box door and the insterment bezel matched the interior color.( seat, door panels, visiors)
