help me decide on lift

Just bought this k2500 a couple weeks ago now want to lift it so I can get just a little bigger tire. I am thinking 255 85 16 bfg's on factory wheels. I am only wanting a 2 inch lift. Tuff country and Skyjacker both have a 2 inch lift that I am looking at. Just looking to see if anyone has used there two inch lifts and should I be able to run that size tire with this lift? Post of pics of your moderately lifted truck with tire sizes. Thanks

Re: help me decide on lift

You can run 33s on a 10" wheel on those trucks. With a tall skinny tire, you won't need a lift. But if you want to anyways, I'd get a zero rate and some longer shackles, don't even know if they make a 2" lift spring for the short springs.

Thumbs up Re: help me decide on lift

Nice truck, I just saw your other thread! I have 2.5" Softrides on the front of the K20 in my avatar. Had 'em several years, no squeaks, no complaints, great quality. No other pics but I know there are pics of other trucks with same lift, somewhere on the board...

Edit: found this, but I know there are others... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=180389

Re: help me decide on lift

I'm running Tough Country's 2" EZ ride spring system with 255/85R16's and like the combo. The lift is not necessary for tire clearance but i like the stance.
