Used Windshield
I found a perfect windshield yesterday, tinted and all in a 69-72 GMC, will it fit a 68 GMC ? And what is the best way to get it out without breaking it ?
Thanks......... |

Re: Used Windshield
Yes
Cut around the gasket with a sharp blade, yopu'll need a new gasket to install it anyway

Re: Used Windshield
dont pay very much for it as brand new they're pretty cheap//only reason i'd put a used one in is if i had a super restored all numbers matching factory correct truck

Re: Used Windshield
I got it for free ! and it is a perfect gm original. Heard about all the problem sealing new ones's I thought I would play with the install myself ? I have a 68 GMC that has the original glass in it, it is almost white at the bottom from Delamination. Any help with the tricks from those that have installed one would be great.
