metal window frames?
is it true that some 60-63 chevy or gmc's had metal side window frames? i would really like some.

I had some rear doors off a '66 4-door that had them. The forward doors did not have them.

They were available in chrome as well as black.

From what information I've gathered 60-62 all came with metal frames around the door glass. In 63 the metal trim around the glass was eliminated in the light duty trucks but were standard on the medium/heavy duty trucks.

My 63, didnt come from the factory w/them, but my 61 donar truck will be giving me a pair to install, they are black framed.

The laminated glass option was available thru 66. My 64 has black frames.

My 60 stepside has them in black and my old 60 fleetside had them in chrome.
