Fleetside gate. According to another forum member the "0 L 4" is the date code as to when the tailgate was made.
The 0 is for the last number of the year, 1970, the L is the letter for the month, December, and the 4 is the day of the month. So it was made on Dec 4, 1970. It has some surface rust that will need to be sanded off. But no dents or dings. Will be an awesome gate once painted.

Price is 700 FIRM plus shipping. Can deliver around VA/WV or surrounding states for a small fee.

I'm in the process of going through my storage shed, so it might be a week before I figure out what all I don't need. As of right now, I've got an auxillary battery box and a takeoff tailgate that has the upper and lower trim. I could use it, but I don't want to run the trim on the bottom and I'm afraid I'll mess the tailgate up if I weld them up.

Sorry, I should clear all of this up. Hart Rod has first dibs pending pictures because he posted in the thread first as per forum rules. 68jewel is second in line. I offered him the gate a couple weeks ago but he just got back with me this afternoon...after Hart Rod Posted. Brett7769 is third in line. Price is 700 picked up or 800 shipped firm. I will be sending pictures to those interested who have supplied me their email address.
