I have seen someone do it here on the site but cant seem to locate the post. I want to run the brake booster on my frame under the cab and was wondering where it was purchased, the make model and year it was made for and maybe some info and measuring guides to go by ( because my cab isnt on the fame) also is this a decent setup or am I going to run into a ton of issues? I am going 4 wheel disk and want my fire wall to have nothing on it except the column. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

One of our board vendors makes a frame mounted m/c-booster setup. cant remember who.

Found it. Scottshotrods. Post #60 shows it mounted in a pu frame.

Be aware that a board member did purchase one of these & couldn't use it because of clearance related issues. His truck was pretty low & the exhaust had to be ran within the framerails. That set-up wouldn't allow enough clearance to run exhaust pipe between it & the tranny.

IIRC, there were pics posted within the thread about these units. I beleive his resolution was to exchange it for an under-dash (still hidden) 90° system.

Yep, that's the one I was referring to. I'm slow @ the keys....

Yeah the pictures really summed it up for me that I will not be able to do this... I am building the frame right now to lay on 24's (not sure if i will go 24 or 22) but it will lay fame for sure. So ill have to run it though the fire wall but ill just have to make it "really pretty" ot have it hidden under the dash ( not sure what dash yet though maybe a 55 bel air or something else i deem "cool).

And here's a pic of a potential problem if you have air suspension... no room for exhaust.

was thinking a small brake booster might work also, but it maybe its too much for being under the dash. but heres their web site also
