Looks to be a 73-87 c-10 frame.

Are you planning on changing the frame or working with that one?

No im working on this one, i started with the engine and im down to the bed it just has some differences when it comes to laying the bed on it, the reason i took the bed off is because the last person who had it just welded the bed to the frame using some steel bars and that is why I took it off, i plan to put the bed on it the right way so i have to try and modify it to fit right.

i would say your best bet would be to modify your front and rear mounting points on your bed first. the tailgate should have a bar on the back with brackets welded to it for mounting the bed. I would move those, the front should be a matter of measuring for proper spacing and re-drilling the mounting holes and adding the proper spacers.

yeah that's what i was thinking of doing, the frame did not have any brackets, but i took some off a 70's truck so i will start to measure and attache the brackets where they should go.
