Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Like the heading says, I recently bought a '69 lwb 1/2 ton ex-farmer truck for $75 bux, and the best part is that it runs and has a clear title. Here are some pics enjoy.

I can't believe it! That thing looks great! What motor is in it and what are your plans? We need more pics of it.

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Its got a 350 motor and tranny combo, I might keep it and possibly cut it up and make into a swb. The truck is at my parents place so that's all the pics I took of it. When I go back home later on this month I'll take some more pics.

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Dang that is one awesome find even if it has a little bit of rust. If that happened to me i'd have a lot more cars and trucks

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Thanx for the compliments guys, I have an extra '68 front clip and a spare short bed that I thought about slapping it on. This would make it my 4th swb truck.

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
The truck is surprisingly straight and somewhat dent free, hardly any rust some in the bed but its surface rust. The cab is pretty much rust free (very solid) cab corners are in very good shape also.

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Good deal. Good truck. With that being said, what is wrong with a long bed? I have recently had to do some repairs on the house. Had to buy wood. My Silverado and 68 C10 are both short wides. What a pain to go to the Lowes to get wood, etc. Next truck I get, it is gonna be a long bed.

Great buy on your truck and best of luck with it. Looks like you got something decent to start with at least.

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Valley trucks are usually pretty rust free. That's a steal. I'm glad that wasn't here, or my wife would be upset with me about now.

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Nothing wrong with the long wheel base, I just prefer shortbeds. Plus we have an old '76 Ford F250 for all of our towing and hauling needs and Dad recently finished restoring a '69 C-20. We just like shortbeds thats all.

Re: Bought a truck for $75 bux!
Love it. If I could find that for 75 bucks I wouldn't care if my wife was upset.
So, how did you score this for 75 bucks? Family friend? Husband in trouble?

I bought it from a guy I went to school with. He just wanted it out of his backyard. His girlfriend keep telling him to get rid of that eyesore!
