The book I have says 20.5 gal. but mine holds 20.6.

i've put 21.75 in mine once... and it was driven to that pump...
The info in the back of my 72 owners manual states;
C/k 10... 20.2 gallons
C 20 & 30... 21 gallons
C/K 10 panels, burbs and blazers... 20.5 gallons
C 20 panels and burbs... 23.5

A lot of the 67 and 68 trucks have a tank in the 16 - 28 gallon size, but I have seen no factory documentation of it.
