Can a cluster with a factory "air gauge"....
.....be used for a boost gauge on a supercharged motor?

I would think it would work as long as your in the same psi range. They came on the c 60's right?

i doubt it. the guage isn't a daul range guage.
They were avalible on C/40 and bigger trucks. |

I think the PSI range will be too high and will not have vacuum reading.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm pretty new to the superchargers, so this may be a stupid question, but do you have to have both ranges? I've always heard the term boost when people refer to them, but I never hear anyone talk about vacuum.

Rob, what about a Corvair Spyder boost guage? If I remember, they're round and may be the right diameter to fit into a modified panel.

The boost gage on my boat does not show vacuum goes from o to 20 PSI

The normal pressure range for the truck is 120 psi and normal boost for a street blower setup is 4-8 psi
