Picture of your Dash!?
So I'm doing a stock rebuild on my 350, figure this is a good time to upgrade my gauges too.
So I have a 70, the only stock gauge that is working is the speedometer and it is off by 10-20mph... there are a mix of after market ones (oil, water, vacuum) in a cheap little pod bolted to the underside of the dash. what have you done to your dash to make it a little more custom? I have some ideas but really need some inspiration! Post some pictures, show me what you've done! thanks, Steve |

Re: Picture of your Dash!?
Do the white faced guages light up any better?
I have a new tach dash in my 72 Jimmy with all new bulbs with good grounds and it is adequate but could be better. Sorry to hijack your thread but I thought others may be interested also? Mark |

Re: Picture of your Dash!?
Yes, I think so. I have leds instead of bulbs and my guages light up blue.

Re: Picture of your Dash!?
Thanks for the pictures guys!
Ryan, you've done exactly what I'm looking to do, putting aftermarket gauges in the stock dash! Questions, what brand gauges are those and how did you attach them to the grill? |

Re: Picture of your Dash!?
Those are VDO series one gauges and my dash panel is not stock. I made it on my CNC mill. But I used to run a stock dash panel and got some plastic inserts that let me run aftermarket gauges. I just can't remember where I got them though. The company was a hot rod business in the Pacific Northwest area.
