I recently met a guy that so happened to have a 69 C10 and works at the corporate office of Discount tire.
After talking to him and getting our stuff done he said any tire or wheel that they have or carry that he will give an extra discount to forum members. I hope this is okay to post for everyone who might be looking to get tires or wheels. If not Im sorry,

do you mean the coprat offic in NV. Cause there is a corp. office in Dallas too. I used to work for them and my brother still does. He is number 3 in sales in the DFW area.

Reson I ask is the actual corprate office is in Arizona. At least that is what i thought.

There was a little funny joke that the owner and his wife own half of arizona cause they are so rich. His wife own sara lee and swanson chicken. Well, that was 7 years ago.

Pretty sure DIscount tire started in Ohio, Michigan area. I know this guy is in Ohio I believe.
I think they are based out of Phoenix now.

Yes, they are based out of Phoenix. I don't know were they started out at. But I do know that the owner started it by mounting tires in his shop and taking them across the street to air them up. That is how he started an now he is rich. I don't know what year it was.

The owners name is Bruce Holly if I remember corectly. It's been 7 years sense i worked there. I worked there for 6 years. I just tryed to call my brother for the owners name but no answer.

Last time I bought tires from Discount Tire, I checked on TireRack.com to find the tires I wanted. I had a small shop in El Cajon price match the TireRack.com price. I then had Discount Tire order me the tires I wanted and price match that small El Cajon shop. Got 17 inch Sumitomos for $50 each. I asked the Discount Tire guy why they don't normally carry Sumitomos and he said because they are too low priced and they can't make as much money selling them. He said they can order any tire I want, though, even brands they normally don't carry.

I thought so, last time I went in they had the #6 Nascar Nationwide Series banner hanging in there with the Discount Tire logo on it. They have good deals there as it is in my opinon, but another discount is cool
