wipers seating
The wipers on my truck will not go down to the rest position when turned off. They want to shut off about halfway through the stroke.
They work, and go the full distance back and forth, just do not rest at the bottom of the windshield. Any ideas?

Re: wipers seating
mine also dont go down all the way when switch to the off position so I will be watching this thread for any suggestions. Mine go almost all the way but there is probably about an inch off before setting on the right position.

Re: wipers seating
If the wipers do not make it to the rest possition and the arms are installed correctly, then the problem is most likely the motor itself. I have tried just replacing the switch a few times for this same problem and it didn't solve the problem. Replacing the motor did.
If the wiper arms return to the rest possition and it is just 1" or so too high, then the problem is most likely the arms installed to high. Pull the arms, turn the wipers on and off once and reinstall the arms where they rest about 1" above the bottom of the windshield. WES
