Re: chevy to gmc grill
I am going the opposite direction with mine. I have a 69 GMC stepside and I want to put a 68 chevy grill in it. What I have figured out so far is I need to change the radiator support to go from dual headlights to single (which will be opposite for you). All I have been doing is looking at what fenders and hood I have and compare in all the catalogs I have. I have posted here about it last week but got only 1 response. I went to a swap meet a year ago and ran into a couple people that say it is a pretty simple swap. Good Luck to you and I hope this helps a little.

Re: chevy to gmc grill
coop... since you have a 67 nose on there, you are 99% there already.
All you need is the core support, the grill, hood latch assembly, and, if you want to complete the look, you'll need a new hood due to badging holes, tailgate, hub caps, console badge (if aplicable) and glove box door painted black with the GMC badge. gunny... you need the same, core support, and grill, then gate/badges to complete the look. The 69 - 72 chevy got a new style fender that GMC did not get. If you look at the part numbers of the fenders for chevy anf then GMC, you'll see what I mean. |

Re: chevy to gmc grill
actually you can just remove your gmc headlight buckets on the core support. The core support on my 69 gmc was rusted out so I bought a new 67 core support and took the headlight buckets off my core support and put them on the new support.
I think we need a sticky about these swaps...lol |

Re: chevy to gmc grill
67-68 hood were different than 69-72, so you would need a hood as well.
