Quick question about fan clutch

Does the fan clutch have some sort of oil sealed up in it? I seem to have a very small leak of something that seems to be coming from there. Just checking. I think that once I get this blazer running this will go away. Thanks!

Re: Quick question about fan clutch

When I replaced my water pump the instructions said that there was a weep hole that may leak a little until you run the motor and the seal seats.

Re: Quick question about fan clutch

It does have oil in it and if it is leaking it will eventually fail. If it is your original and want to keep it, there is a corvette guy who rebuilds dated clutch fans.
