Rear track and control arm bushing question
Are the bushings (urethane) for the rear trailing arm and track (panhard) bar the same between the 3/4 ton and 1/2 trucks/suburban (67-72)?
I need to replace the bushings in my 72 burb, but am having problems tracking part numbers. Thanks, Tim

Re: Rear track and control arm bushing question
They should be the same. The difference in the arms themselves was the addition of plating on the top & bottom to reinforce them.

Re: Rear track and control arm bushing question
Thanks!
I figured as much for the control arms, but wasn't 100% sure. As for the track bar, I seem to remember years ago, when I replaced the track bar bushings on my 71 C20 truck, that I had problems with the size....may be false memory though....

Re: Rear track and control arm bushing question
Well, I pulled the bar out and measured....the 3/4 ton track bar bushings are larger OD than the 1/2 ton ones. The 3/4 ton bushings are 1 3/8" OD, the 1/2 ton version is about 1 1/2".....so now I need to track down the correct part number....
