Not. But a hood would be nice. Just kidding. I'm sure you got one.

Re: Color change or not

I'm with Longhorn man, do you want a color change? It's obviously not a bone stock restored truck so If it were mine I'd do as I darned well pleased as far as color goes.

On the other hand "restored" as back to showroom original means the exactly as delivered new color and color combination to me but I also believe that "restored" means you run the stock wheels and caps on it an not aftermarket wheels. Funny thing is I have never restored a truck or car in my live and doubt if I ever will.

One reason I enjoy having a plain Jane nothing special on the option list truck. No one gets in an uproar if I make changes to it.

Gotta go with the consensus here and vote to keep it red and white. I personally don't like solid color trucks with all the side molding of a two tone, somehow it just doesn't look right to me.

Solid Black improves the look of ANY car/truck. My Dad had a '69 GMC (I'm assuming Sierra grande). Had all the chrome, bucket seats with the fancy interior, Black on Black. It was to die for. Nothoing wrong with the red/white, black would just be better. HOWEVER, to do it right would require the body to be removed from the frame and be stripped down. Big job.

Re: Color change or not

I own a paint and body shop, and built the truck from the ground up , painting it wouldnt be a problem, i have a thought of seafoam green and white also.

It`s the toughest decision to make.I pretty much leave them all the way they came.I`ve never regretted it.When building up from the ground, anything goes.
