Go to Checkers or whoever and they should have a bracket for this setup. The mount goes on the exh. manifold first 2 bolts and holds the bottom of the alt. like $10. Then there is the 1 that goes on top it is a long bent 1 that has the adj. hole in it that mount's to the front top bolt of the water pump.I had this exact same setup (461,Performer ) drvs side alt or is yours on the pass. side?

If you have factory maniolds you can get a GM bracket that bolts to the manifold. Most parts stores will have a bracket that is for use with headers but can also be used with manifolds. There are also several aftermarket low mount brackets that bolt to the block and work well in performance applications.
