not to be a smart A... but did you double check the fluid level?
If thats good, I guess you can tru any one of the fluid additive things, they are bad news on a good tranny, but since it is already junk, it can't hurt. |

Did you remember to put the bolts through the flywheel into the torque converter? I really dont know what happens if you don't, but that could be why it is all of the sudden bad.?>? I guess?

Re: tranny issues help if possable
Sawdust in the tranny? It's an old used car lot scam trick I learned about when searching for a car at the we tote the notes. It will make your tranny fail eventually, (probably sooner rather than later). But maybe it can get you back and forth to work for a few days, maybe. I am not advocating sawdust in the tranny, but I've seen it done. And no I've never done it to anyone, just almost had it done to me twice when I was young.

Re: tranny issues help if possable
Did you completely fill up the torque convertor with fluid when you put the tranny on? Also make sure you seated the torque convertor all the way before you bolt it to the fly wheel. If not, and you tightened up the torque convertor without it being seated all the way you may have broken or cracked the sun shell. I've done that before, too.
