Here is a very old pic of my '71. Not sure what the drop is at this point in it's life. As much as I could drop to fit 275-50X16's. Now I have drop spindles and coilovers in the rear.

Re: customized 2wd 8 luggers
I've got photos of one that I saw several years ago. It had a few too many accessories on it for my taste but was a slick truck that sat pretty nice. I'll see if I can dig them out and get the scanner to work.

Re: customized 2wd 8 luggers
Wideopen, I put the coils in myself a couple years ago and this pic is way older, but the ride height is the same. I used late model stock car coil mounts to the axle and fab up the upper hangers for the top mount. It made the ride so much better in the rear that I'm doing the front this winter. Joe's Racing Products now makes upper control arms with sealed bearings that I'm going to try.

Wide open, here is a picture of mine. 71 C-30 (Longhorn) 8 Lug with a 5-7 drop. I can still tow with it and I have used it to move a couple of times.

How'd you lower that black truck. Details man, details. I'd like to lower my C20 Custom Camper but want to keep the hauling capacity so I can tow a 5000 lb travel trailer with my 900 lb motorcycle in the bed of the truck. I've got heavy leafs ( 10 each side).68 C20 Custom Camper.

My 3/4 ton is shrinking. I'm making it into a short bed. I cut/rewelded the frame yesterday. The bed is nearly finished welding back together. No pictures yet though
