my 65 build
this is my 65 short wide that i got when i was 16 drove the truck for about 6 months and then unfortunatly rearended a jeep and decided to just go ahead and tear it down.
2 years later i have had the frame sandblasted and powdercoated did a disc brake conversion off of a 85 silverado it has a 2/3 drop it has a mild built 350 that should make around 400hp at the crank the truck had a turbo350 automatic trans and about 2 weeks ago i decided i would much rather have a 4 speed im planning on putting a borg warner super t10 in it other mods include removing the gas tank from the cab and doing a fuel cell between the frame rails also put in a weld in roll pan i still lack brake lines and a new master cylinder winshield steering gear box wiring harness and some paint work i have a picture of the truck before i wrecked it and the rest are how it sits now |

Re: my 65 build
Nice progress on a great looking truck (prior to the wreck). I'm sure it will be even better when your done.
BTW and welcome to the board. I see your in Acworth. I was born and raised there on County Line Rd off of Mars Hill. Of coarse that was 30-40 years ago. Check out the North Ga group in my signature if you like local car shows and cruise ins.

Really nice looking truck before the wreck, what all plans do you have for it the second time around.

Re: my 65 build
Your right, who's gonna care about all of this in 100 years. Might as well slow down and smell the paint fumes...........uhhh, I mean roses.

Post up some info about the acworth shows in the N. Georgia group. The only ones I go to are Canton, Jasper. I don't venture out too much.
