Will it fit in my garage?
This seems like a question that must have been answered before but after a long unsuccessful search of this forum and Google I still come up empty. I've seen the length of just about every other possible truck on the planet and I'm really sorry if I've just missed it somewhere.... I have my eye on a 1972 C10 long bed but I don't have access to it. My garage is 20' 2" long with the door closed. Will a long bed C10 fit? In short, what's the length from stem to stern, front bumper to rear bumper, of the 1972 long bed C10?
Thanks a ton in advance!! If the answer comes back that it's less than 20' I promise to only ask interesting questions from now on!! -- Rob |

Re: Will it fit in my garage?
It'll fit. I have a standard size garage and I still have room to walk around the front of my truck. I back in and put markers on the floor so I know when to stop. My truck is a long bed too btw.

Re: Will it fit in my garage?
You have room, the long beds need about a 18.5 x 7.5 box to fit comfortable. My LWB comes right at 18 feet long bumper to bumper

Re: Will it fit in my garage?
They are in the -19' neighborhood. In Maryland the way they break down safety inspection licenses is up to 10,000# or 19' and over that is another license.Cars and pickups up to 3/4t all fall under the first category.
EDIT:I just realized this is old info and all these extended cabs and crew cabs will fall into the heavier category. The law prolly has changed. But,that doesn`t effect these trucks.
