IA 1969 307, complete, rebuilt

I have what i believe to be the origanl 307 out of our 69 c-10. I ran the casting numbers once and they came up for the 68-70 set. The motor at some point was rebuilt befor i bought the truck, as to how many miles are on it i am not for sure. It is partially diasassembled right now. When i bought the truck it was not running right, so i replaced the cam. That did not fix the problem. I began to notice that while the engine was running all the rockers kept getting looser. Well long story short, whoever rebuilt the heads put new studs in them and did not pin them so they wouldn't pull out. So i threw another set of heads on the engine and ran for a little over year like that and maybe put 500 miles on it. The short block had bo problems other than it leaked around the timeing cover from whn i changed the cam. I have the original heads, intake, two barrel carb, points distributor, water pump, pulleys, and i would let the exhaust manifolds go with it as well. Will need gaskets and the heads fixed, as well as the carb rebuilt to be ran again. Perfect for someone looking for a date coded engine. Will add pics, and casting numbers in the next couple days. Asking $425 for all.
