Stepside tailgate supports
I am looking for some ideas for chainless tailgate supports for stepsides. I got rid of the chains and brackets and put in hidden latches. Anyone have any clean solutions? Let's see some pics.

This is what the PO did with this setup. I like it, but it needs a little refinement.

I thought about going to the newer type cables like on the newer trucks but still have my chains. They work pretty well.
