is this a factory tilt?!
i have a auto tilt column that doesnt have a key hole, and has the rounded plug in on the bottem

If there is only just over an inch of lower shaft sticking out the bottom... it may be truck tilt.

so out of the tube, near where the shaft goes between the column and gear box?

I got a tilt column out of a mid-70's Rally-six GMC van. Steering wheel is identical to my stock steering wheel (even down to the cracks ). But the wiring plug and neutral safety switch was different. Aside from that, would this tilt column be pretty much the same as the stock tilt columns for 67-72? Btw, the van tilt did NOT have a steering arm, I used my own.
