Does anybody know who makes a decent headlight adjusters for a 87? I'm tired of these local part store pieces of crap.

unfortunately they are all basically made at the same place and packaged differently so youre not going to find too much that is better quality

ive had good luck with auto zone ones .. i used the factory screw and the new nylon ..threw their screw away it didnt fit in headlight bucket correctly

I have found the square license plate adjusters to work really well.

They are kinda hard to get into the hole, but once they are in they are good to go

Every now and then I will have to replace them if they spin in the opening. ( seems like my headlights never stay adjusted )

Someday Im going to tack weld some "Nuts'' on the backside and call it DONE !

Now that is a good idea. Problem I have is either the hole in the nylon block is too big or either it is too soft and the screws just pull thru it. Haven't tried the dealer yet. I'll check and see if they have them on gm parts direct.

the adjusters are color coded grey .white pink and such

I went to the junkyard and picked some up and cleaned them up. Left the autozone ones there.
